Our new Contrast Tour is the perfect mix for anyone who wants to experience the fascinating wildlife of the Panama Canal and the historic heart of Panama City with us in just one unforgettable day. ​

After picking you up directly inside the port area of Colón 2000, we head out of the city and, just like on our T2 Monkey Island Tour, we reach our boarding point at Gatun Lake after a good hour's bus ride. Here we transfer to a boat and glide through the waterways of the Panama Canal. Passing Panama's lush fauna and the ocean giants on their way through the canal, we keep an eye out for the curious inhabitants of the Monkey Islands – with a little luck, the monkey species living here in the wild will come right up to the boat! In addition, there is also a variety of exotic birds, crocodiles, iguanas, or even the occasional sloth to discover in this unique natural world.
 

Back on land, we continue to the vibrant capital. Our first stop is the famous Amador Causeway, a land bridge created with excavated material from the Panama Canal that connects three islands to the mainland. From here, we enjoy a breathtaking view of the city skyline and the Pacific entrance of the canal – the ideal spot for a souvenir photo. ​ Afterwards, we dive into Panama's history. On a relaxed walking tour through the cobblestone streets of Casco Antiguo (Old Town), also known as Casco Viejo, we discover colonial architecture, historic squares, and charming churches.

Our tour guide will tell you exciting stories about the past and present of this magical place. We also schedule some free time for you here to browse the various artisan craft stalls for the perfect souvenir at your leisure, or simply take in the fascinating contrast between the breathtaking skyline and the charming colonial flair. ​

Finally, we will take the highway back, returning you safely, punctually, and with plenty of buffer time to your ship. The excursion has a total duration of approx. 7.5 hours and is optimally adjusted according to the available docking time of your ship.
