About Us

We are a family-run company, founded in October 2016.

My name is Max Pichler and I come from Austria. Since my wife Faresa is Panamanian, and this beautiful country in Central America has become our shared home, we decided to found our own company "BIS BALD TOURS" here in Panama.

Whether cycling around the world alone in a year, cruising through the Caribbean with Faresa, or hitchhiking across Morocco, we have always felt the need for responsible tourism and have always followed three simple guiding principles: Recognize that every destination is someone else's home, leave places as we would like to find them, and ensure that the region and the environment also benefit from our visit.

Starting a company from scratch gives us the opportunity to plan tours and work in a way that offers sustainability in the region, while at the same time maintaining or improving environmental awareness in the country.

Our goal is to provide our visitors with a great insight into the country and culture in one day through our experience, small group sizes, professional guidance and a well-chosen program.

Our visitors should have the opportunity to get to know the people, the history and the future of the country, and thus experience an interesting, beautiful and unforgettable day trip to Panama.

And who knows, maybe it will inspire a second visit to get to know Panama, its culture and nature, even more extensively.

In this sense...

SEE YOU SOON :)

Yours sincerely, Max Pichler
